The Okanagan Lake sandy beaches are surrounded by pine and sagebrush for some shade. And the real treat is the 10,000 exotic trees within this park including Lombardy Popular, Norway Maple and Russian Olive. It makes it for a great educational trip with nature in the Okanagan Valley.

The Okanagan Lake Park enjoys two separated campgrounds, some well maintained day use picnic areas, hot showers, flush and pit toilets, boat ramp, change rooms, running water, amphitheatre, firewood, beach areas and many trees providing shade during the summer hot months.

The Okanagan Lake Provincial Park is a popular area for activities such as fishing, camping, swimming, boating, water skiing, canoeing and picnics. The amenities of the park make it a popular destination so reservations are recommended.

For boaters staying at the Okanagan Lake Provincial Park , the Okanagan Mountain Park and another 10,000 hectares of exploring is just a short boat ride away.
